箴12:1 喜愛管教的、就是喜愛知識．恨惡責備的、卻是畜類。
Whoso loveth instruction loveth knowledge: but he that hateth reproof is brutish.
箴12:2 善人必蒙耶和華的恩惠．設詭計的人、耶和華必定他的罪。
A good man obtaineth favour of the Lord: but a man of wicked devices will he condemn.
箴12:3 人靠惡行不能堅立．義人的根必不動搖。
A man shall not be established by wickedness: but the root of the righteous shall not be moved.
箴12:4 才德的婦人、是丈夫的冠冕．貽羞的婦人、如同朽爛在他丈夫的骨中。
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband: but she that maketh ashamed is as rottenness in his bones.
箴12:5 義人的思念是公平．惡人的計謀是詭詐。
The thoughts of the righteous are right: but the counsels of the wicked are deceit.
箴12:6 惡人的言論、是埋伏流人的血．正直人的口、必拯救人。
The words of the wicked are to lie in wait for blood: but the mouth of the upright shall deliver them.
箴12:7 惡人傾覆、歸於無有．義人的家、必站得住。
The wicked are overthrown, and are not: but the house of the righteous shall stand.
箴12:8 人必按自己的智慧被稱讚．心中乖謬的、必被藐視。
A man shall be commended according to his wisdom: but he that is of a perverse heart shall be despised.
箴12:9 被人輕賤、卻有僕人、強如自尊、缺少食物。
He that is despised, and hath a servant, is better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.
箴12:10 義人顧惜他牲畜的命．惡人的憐憫、也是殘忍。
A righteous man regardeth the life of his beast: but the tender mercies of the wicked are cruel.
箴12:11 耕種自己田地的、必得飽食．追隨虛浮的、卻是無知。
He that tilleth his land shall be satisfied with bread: but he that followeth vain persons is void of understanding.
箴12:12 惡人想得壞人的網羅．義人的根、得以結實。
The wicked desireth the net of evil men: but the root of the righteous yieldeth fruit.
箴12:13 惡人嘴中的過錯、是自己的網羅．但義人必脫離患難。
The wicked is snared by the transgression of his lips: but the just shall come out of trouble.
箴12:14 人因口所結的果子、必飽得美福．人手所作的、必為自己的報應。
A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man's hands shall be rendered unto him.
箴12:15 愚妄人所行的、在自己眼中看為正直．惟智慧人、肯聽人的勸教。
The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.
箴12:16 愚妄人的惱怒、立時顯露．通達人能忍辱藏羞。
A fool's wrath is presently known: but a prudent man covereth shame.
箴12:17 說出真話的、顯明公義．作假見證的、顯出詭詐。
He that speaketh truth sheweth forth righteousness: but a false witness deceit.
箴12:18 說話浮躁的、如刀刺人．智慧人的舌頭、卻為醫人的良藥。
There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
箴12:19 口吐真言、永遠堅立．舌說謊話、只存片時。
The lip of truth shall be established for ever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment.
箴12:20 圖謀惡事的、心存詭詐．勸人和睦的、便得喜樂。
Deceit is in the heart of them that imagine evil: but to the counsellers of peace is joy.
箴12:21 義人不遭災害．惡人滿受禍患。
There shall no evil happen to the just: but the wicked shall be filled with mischief.
箴12:22 說謊言的嘴、為耶和華所憎惡．行事誠實的、為他所喜悅。
Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.
箴12:23 通達人隱藏知識．愚昧人的心、彰顯愚昧。
A prudent man concealeth knowledge: but the heart of fools proclaimeth foolishness.
箴12:24 殷勤人的手必掌權．懶惰的人必服苦。
The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute.
箴12:25 人心憂慮、屈而不伸．一句良言、使心歡樂。
Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.
箴12:26 義人引導他的鄰舍．惡人的道、叫人失迷。
The righteous is more excellent than his neighbour: but the way of the wicked seduceth them.
箴12:27 懶惰的人、不烤打獵所得的．殷勤的人、卻得寶貴的財物。
The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious.
箴12:28 在公義的道上有生命．其路之中、並無死亡。
In the way of righteousness is life; and in the pathway thereof there is no death.
